THE SUIT IS FICTION. THE EXPERIENCE IS REAL.
Most insurance agents try to learn about distilleries from an application. Aaron has worked alongside distillers and experienced the process firsthand, from grain to glass, at four different distilleries. He understands how spirits are made, where the risks exist, and why protecting a distillery requires more than simply selling an insurance policy.
How InsuranceMan Was Born
Eighteen years ago, Aaron began specializing in insurance for the distilling and alcohol industry. What started as learning the unique risks of making spirits became something much bigger: a mission to change the way distilleries understand and purchase insurance. He discovered that too many policies were written by people who understood insurance but knew very little about distilling and how to correctly value maturing spirits.
Rather than simply selling policies, Aaron immersed himself in the industry. He learned the distilling process firsthand, became an educator at Moonshine University, contributes to industry publications, and developed specialized maturation valuation forms adopted by national insurance carriers. His goal was never just to insure distilleries. It was to understand them well enough to protect what makes each one unique.
Somewhere along the way, InsuranceMan was born. Not because Aaron needed a cape, but because distillers needed someone willing to ask the questions other agents weren't asking, explain the coverage they were actually buying, and stand up for their businesses before something went wrong.
"The worst time to discover what your insurance policy doesn't cover is after you've had a loss. My job is to make sure we have that conversation long before a claim ever happens."
